Olivier Jacquat is the new representative of the Federal Administration

Olivier Jacquat has been Deputy Head of the Innovation Section and is leader of the environmental research at the Federal Office for the Environment since January 2009. He studied geosciences in the Bern, Neuchâtel and Fribourg universities network before studying for a PhD in environmental science at the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich. Olivier Jacquat has lectured in environment law and environmental policy at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. He takes the place of Sibyl Anwander, who is leaving Switzerland for personal reasons.

As one of the initiators of NRP 73, Olivier Jacquat is fully familiar with the programme and knows the individual projects. This provides an excellent foundation for a positive and fruitful partnership, and NRP 73 is delighted to welcome Olivier Jacquat aboard.
