A Deep Dive Session at CE2 – circular economy entrepreneurs – on 27 June 2019 with NRP 73. CE2 wants to shape the future of enterprises together with business representatives.

The circular economy is based on collaboration. During a Deep Dive session, Renate Schubert and Manuel Grieder from ETH Zurich shed light on the success factors and conditions that facilitate collaboration from the point of view of behavioural economics. Andreas Röhrich, director of product development at Wolford AG, presented the company’s cradle-to-cradle approach and explains what’s driving the collaborations his company is engaged in. Discussions with the participants confirmed that a forward-looking approach, leadership, a common way of thinking and win-win situations are among the main success factors. In addition, nudges and favourable framework conditions are needed to initiate collaborations, and clients have to be motivated if the circular economy is to succeed. Renate Schubert and Manuel Grieder are exploring these topics within the scope of NRP 73.
